Psychological Support for Real Life in Northern Ontario

Assessments, psychotherapy, and no-waitlist single session consultations led with genuine care and connection.

Welcome to MNDFL Collective.

Life in the North - we get it. We truly appreciate what it takes to live here.

We’re a dedicated team of clinicians doing mental health care differently, with no clinical coldness or an impersonal environment where you feel like just another file on a desk.

Because we understand that mental health support isn’t one-size-fits-all, we provide a full spectrum of psychological services with a genuinely human approach.

Why we’re different:

Personalized care.

Receive inclusive care that’s tailored to you or your loved one’s unique strengths and needs. We simply don’t believe in cookie-cutter mental health support.

Lifespan support.

We work with clients from infancy to adulthood, which supports continuity of care and an understanding of how life experiences, at any age, can influence a client’s life.

Comfortable environment.

Experience a warm, genuine, and welcoming space where you and your family can feel at ease, promoting openness and collaboration.

The Process.

Schedule an intake to help us better understand you or your family member’s strengths, needs, and unique journey.

We will collaborate with you to develop a tailored plan, be it an assessment, psychotherapy, and/or consultation. Rest assured that you will have clear steps to move forward.

Even after we have reached the goals set in your personalized plan, we will continue to consult with you as needed. We also offer no-waitlist single consultations for support when you need it most.

Psychotherapy & Other Interventions

  • We will support you and/or your family member through a therapeutic process to address and manage any emotional or behavioural challenges, with the goal of improved coping, personal growth, and mental wellness

  • Similar to individual psychotherapy, group therapy uses psychotherapeutic strategies, usually Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), in a group setting

  • Support for caregivers in terms of managing externalizing behaviours, learning parenting strategies, and improving understanding of a child’s development

  • Support for caregivers, schools, agencies, etc. to better understand the nature of a child’s difficult behaviour(s), including recommendations for a behaviour treatment plan

  • Support for caregivers, siblings, and other family members of an individual who has a psychiatric or neurodevelopmental condition to better understand the diagnosis, determine implications for home life, and for general coping

  • Have you ever needed psychological support, diagnostic impression, or clinical recommendations/next steps but didn’t know where to turn? We are proud to offer a unique service where we dedicate a few days a month to a “drop-in” mental health service where you can book a one-off 50-minute consultation with Dr. Price or a clinician working under her supervision, without having to wait months or years on a waitlist

Supervision & Professional Development

  • We offer a developmental approach to mentor graduate students looking to register with their respective colleges. There are also volunteer opportunities available for bachelor-level students

  • We offer workshops and presentations on various mental health topics. Feel free to reach out with any requests for novel topics. Previous topics have included psychoeducation regarding Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), technology use and child development, and strategies to support childhood anxiety

Meet the Team.

At our core, the MNDFL Collective team is dedicated to providing a supportive, inclusive, and safe space for all clients.

Our vibe? Genuine. Warm. Real.

We lead with honesty. We don’t hide behind big clinical words. We don’t nod politely while you do all the work.

We deliver quality support with the warmth you’d expect from a friend mixed with the directness you need to actually see change.

We acknowledge that our clinic serves communities across Northern Ontario, including the Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie regions, on the traditional territories of many Indigenous Nations. These lands include the territories of the Atikameksheng Anishnaabeg, the Batchewana First Nation, Garden River First Nation, and many other First Nations whose stewardship and connection to these lands continue today. These lands are rightfully protected by the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850.

We are grateful to live and work on these lands and recognize the inherent rights, cultures, knowledge, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We respect Indigenous communities as the knowledge keepers of their own people and we are committed to listening, learning, and providing care with deep respect and humility.
